About GoldPremium.pro
GoldPremium.pro is a free calculator that shows the premium over spot price for gold and silver coins, with links to dealers. Spot prices come from Gold-API.com, with the Royal Mint's public price chart as a backup. GoldPremium.pro is independent and is not affiliated with the Royal Mint or any dealer.

What is collected. The site does not ask for personal details and has no accounts, forms, cookies or analytics. The weights and prices typed into the calculator stay in the user's browser and are not saved by the site.
Server logs. The website's host receives the user's IP address and basic request details (the page requested, the time and the user's browser type) when the user loads the site. This is needed to protect the site from abuse (via request limiting) and to auto-select country and currency. The website's host, Render (render.com/privacy), handles this data for the site and processes it in the United States. The coin images are loaded from images.goldpremium.pro, which is served by the content delivery network Bunny (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia; bunny.net/privacy), so Bunny also receives the user's IP address and basic request details when the images load. Render says it keeps device and IP data for as long as it needs it to ensure that its systems are working. This information is not used to identify the user and is not sold. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): running and securing a free information website.
Affiliate links. Some dealer links on this site are affiliate links. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you if you buy through those links. This does not change the prices shown or the premium calculated. Following a link takes you to the dealer's own website, which has its own privacy policy and may use its own cookies; GoldPremium.pro itself sets no cookies.
Is giving this data required? The IP address is sent automatically by the user's device whenever a website is loaded, so it cannot be avoided if the site is to work. The site makes no automated decisions about users and does no profiling; the country is only used to preselect the country and currency.
Your rights. You can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the personal data held about you, and you can object to how it is used. This site does not store personal data itself, so there is usually nothing for us to look up or change; the host's server logs are described above.
